Winter in the Quetico Park
Have you always wondered what the Quetico Park would look like in the winter? Then come and find out for yourself at their 6th annual Cross Quetico Lakes Tour on Saturday, March 17th. Cache Bay Ranger, Janice Matichuk and her brother have participated in this event every year and say it is an awesome experience.
Grab your cross-country skis and get ready for a winter wilderness experience. Skiers can choose from various lengths including 35 km, 45 km, or 55 km. The routes traveled are across frozen lakes and snow covered portages including Nym and Pickerel Lakes.
