Victor of Voyageur

You might remember Victor who worked at Voyageur Canoe Outfitters or you may recognize him from photos on our website. He’s an amazing individual who is caring and charismatic and seems to be able to connect with everyone he meets.  He worked for us for a couple of summers, I think 2010 and 2011.

He’s originally from Grand Marais, Minnesota but has an adventurous spirit and has traveled extensively. He is currently working with at-risk youth in Utah for a Wilderness Therapy Program called Aspiro.  He feels he has found his calling and in order to serve others more fully he is planning to take a 40-day course through Solid Rock Ministry.  The course is expensive and he still needs to raise $5000 so anyone who feels compelled to help him can do so by making a donation to INV-587 on the SROM website. Once all of the funds for the program are raised the account will no longer be available so don’t wait too long or you won’t be able to help him out.

SROM has been providing industry-leading wilderness adventure experiences for youth and young adults for over 30 years… SROM’s mission, in the context of technical deep wilderness expeditions, is to birth and grow mature Christ followers; sons and daughters of light who become loving and loyal disciples who make disciples of all nations.

It’s great to see our previous Voyageur Crew members pursue their dreams especially when it involves the wilderness and serving others.  We wish Victor all the best in his pursuit.
