     I took a peek at the forecast because I haven’t liked our recent weather.  The weekend was way too warm and we haven’t had a significant amount of snowfall in what seems like forever.  I found that something was missing from the forecast. 

  • Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 29. Calm wind becoming northwest between 5 and 10 mph.
  • Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10. West wind around 10 mph.
  • Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 23. West wind around 5 mph.
  • Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 3. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph.
  • Thursday: A 30 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 22.
  • Thursday Night: A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 9.
  • Friday: A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 16.
  • Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 4.
  • Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 15.
  • Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 0.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 13.
  • Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 0.
  • Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 13. 

     I looked through the entire forecast and I couldn’t find any storm or blizzard warnings.  I want more snow and I want it now!  It’s January and it’s suppose to be cold and snowy yet over the weekend it was above freezing and I think it may have even rained in Grand Marais.  OK everyone, let’s do a snow dance on 3, ONE, TWO, THREE!!
