Moose Mosey Along

     Was it just yesterday I wrote about people pulling over in the middle of the Gunflint Trail to look at moose?  A funny thing happened on the way to Grand Marais yesterday afternoon.  I was showing Josh which swamp I had seen the moose in the day before and sure enough, there the moose was again. 

     This time I had my camera along and a little bit of extra time so I decided to pull over to take some pictures.  A few other vehicles joined us and watched as a cow and a calf munched on weeds and another moose blew bubbles through her nose as she bobbed for water weeds. 

     I find it kind of amazing I still love to take pictures of moose.  We’ve owned Voyageur Canoe Outfitters since 1993 and I find moose as fascinating today as I did back then.  The moose are out in full force this summer so come see for yourself.  If you can’t then you’ll have to be content with just looking at my photos.
