Hiking

Today was a gorgeous fall day with the temperature in the 60’s and the sun shining brightly.  After dropping Josh off at Pre-School  I was able to hike up Pincushion Mountain for a great view of Lake Superior and Grand Marais.  I had never been on that trail before and didn’t even know it existed until today.  What a wonderful hike through the woods.  Then after picking the kids up from school we drove up the Trail to Gunflint Lake and hiked up to the High Cliffs.  These cliffs overlook Gunflint Lake and Canada to the North.  We saw a few grouse, a deer and had a great time in the woods.
