Grouse Hunting on the Gunflint Trail

     We didn’t have ideal conditions for grouse hunting on the Gunflint Trail this weekend but we managed to get a couple of grouse anyway. My favorite thing about grouse hunting is I can get my son to go on long walks in the woods with me. This weekend he had a friend over so I invited a couple of friends to tag along too. It was nice to be outside in the fresh air.

    A couple of times this year when Mike has taken Josh out hunting I’ll be outside and see a grouse in our yard. It’s kind of funny they are out looking for grouse and they could have stayed home and found one. We wouldn’t shoot a grouse in our yard but it’s funny nonetheless.
