DNR Approves PolyMet Mine Plan

The Minnesota DNR approved the final environmental review for PolyMet Mine in Northern Minnesota. I find it incredulous the DNR believes PolyMet will do no harm to the environment. The DNR is supposed to protect our natural resources but they have let the wool get pulled over their eyes(or dollar signs cloud their vision). No matter how many jobs it could bring or money it can make the mining will hurt our environment. It’s just a matter of how much damage it will do and for how long and far the effects will be felt.
