The weather changed overnight and the temperatures dropped down near freezing last night. The high temperature of the day didn’t even reach 60 degrees! Yes, we’re still in Myrtle Beach, SC and according to Marilyn up at Voyageur, we don’t have anything to complain about. At the end of the Trail the ground is white, the river is starting to freeze, and more snow is in the forecast. Next week’s forecast calls for more snow and cold temperatures, barely reaching up into the 30’s during the daytime. I have a feeling when Mike and I return home we will be welcomed with winter on the Trail. And this time, it is probably here to stay. We’re looking forward to getting back home to our family and friends, furry ones too.
