100 Degrees
Nope, it isn’t 100 degrees today nor was it yesterday or will it be tomorrow. 100 degrees is what the temperature difference will be for Mike and I when we return from a much needed vacation. While the low temperature on the Gunflint Trail was minus 25 degrees this morning we were enjoying a balmy 84 degrees with 80 percent humidity. Sitting in the airport waiting for a connecting flight, I wonder why am I returning home?
The obvious reason I am returning home is because I miss some things about home; family, friends, Rugby and especially the new snow that has fallen. It sounds like there’s plenty of snow on the Gunflint Trail and it’s calling my name. Guess I better get home and put away the snorkeling gear and pull out the snowshoes and skis.
