Victory for the BWCA

The Federal Government took a stand and will not allow mining to happen near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.  This is great news for those who love to paddle the pristine lakes of the Minnesota canoe country. According to environmentalists the proposed mining would have had detrimental effects to the watershed due to the pollution it would cause.  Here’s the scoop.
