Seventies and Sunny on the Gunflint
It’s unlike any deer opener I can remember. Temperatures in the seventies, sunshine and barely a breeze on the Gunflint Trail. What an unusual November weekend. Oh how nice it would have been to be camping in the BWCA this past weekend. What about next weekend?

Next weekend we’ll be in the cities watching volleyball. The Cook County volleyball team of which Abby is a member, made it into the Minnesota State High School Tournament. So, we shall see how long the lakes remain liquid but I bet the nice weather won’t last much longer.
There were a couple of cabin owners up on Saganaga this weekend and they had the lake pretty much to themselves. What an amazing time to be on the Gunflint Trail.
