Saganaga Lake
On a recent trip out to Saganaga I stopped to take a hike up to what I call Eagle Rock .

It is a high point where many times there will be not one but two eagles perched high in a dead tree keeping watch over Sag. The view from the Rock is incredible. You can see the Minnesota side of Saganaga and all of the beautiful islands. The blue water sparkles from above and it is a gorgeous sight. The path of the 1995 Sag Fire is evident where all of the smaller, new growth can be found. The beauty of the area still impresses me and I am thankful to live in such a wonderful place.
