National Park Week

     April 17-25th is National Park Week and admission to any of the 392 National Parks is free.       The Boundary Waters may not be a National Park but it is just as wonderful as one.

     I’ve been to alot of National Parks and I’ve enjoyed them all.  One thing that’s different about a National Park and the BWCA is the lack of crowds in the BWCA.  Unlike many of the Parks that have congested roadways there isn’t even a road in the BWCA.  There aren’t exhaust fumes to deal with or traffic either. 

       Get out and enjoy a National Park this week and when you’re planning a summer vacation consider the Boundary Waters, it’s just as nice.
