Sometimes I’m shocked at how well Mother Nature listens to me.  After complaining about rain and warm weather yesterday today it is colder and snowing again.  While this brings moans of disgust out of most people’s mouths it doesn’t out of mine.

A nice layer of fresh snow on top of the crusty surface of the snow is perfect.  This will make cross-country skiing on the lakes possible again after yesterday’s rain.  There’s still plenty of snow on the hard-packed trails and now I just need to get out and take advantage of it.

What else is impressive?  The size of the tracks I saw on Saganaga while snowmobiling the other day.  Check them out at theVoyageur Blog. The round black item is my camera lens cap.
