Canoe Races Are Coming
Wasn’t it just the Summer Solstice? It doesn’t seem possible that it is the middle of July and the Gunflint Trail Annual Canoe Races are this week. It’s a fundraiser for the Gunflint Trail Volunteer Fire Department put on by the property owners from the Gunflint Trail. Every year these volunteers gather prizes, sell raffle tickets, bake treats, make sloppy joes and more for the big crowd that gathers for the event.
If you’re in the area then come have some fun, support the GTVFD and cheer for the Voyageur Crew. The details below are from the Cook County Visitor Bureau Website.
