Animal Activity at Voyageur

Critters are out and about at Voyageur Canoe Outfitters, some bigger than others. Mark spotted a grouse with over 20 chicks following closely and quickly behind her. He also saw a large snapping turtle digging holes to lay her eggs in and a scrawny fox probably looking for turtle eggs in our sand.  Chipmunks and red squirrels are scurrying about and the resident bear has returned for a couple of visits. It’s business as usual at Voyageur for us and the local wildlife.
