A Star is Born

On this day, 16 years ago, a star was born. Months of anticipation and hours of labor resulted in a beautiful baby girl. 9.1 pounds and a broken clavicle Miss Abigail Elaine Prom was born.

Today she passed her driver’s test, celebrated her special day with 16 or so of her favorite friends and drove my Subaru on her own today, which she wants to claim as her own.

My little girl is growing up, way too quickly for my liking, but it’s just as it should be.
