40 Days and 40 Nights

  Canoes or arks?  Sorry to do this to you but inquiring minds want to know.  It just keeps raining and raining and raining.  It’s only the 9th of the month and we’re just an inch away from the ten year high of 5.2 inches in 1998.   The water level is as high as I have ever seen it in the fall and close to as high as I have seen it in the spring. 

     The forecast calls for more rain through Wednesday and then the skies are suppose to clear.  We’ll see about that.  The temperatures are cooling off and there’s even a chance of snow.  I wouldn’t mind a little bit of the white stuff or come to think of it alot of the white stuff. 

     I hope all of this rain means we’re going to have a big snow year.  I would love to set records for snowfall this winter.  I’m happy for the precipitation in whatever form it wants to fall.
