Winter in Grand Marais
The ice caves at the Apostle Islands received a ton of press and visitors this winter. I didn’t make it out to see them but I did see lots of beautiful photos of them. Luckily our shoreline of Lake Superior doesn’t get that kind of attention, I’d hate to have visitors here in the numbers that visited the ice caves. Our shoreline is quite beautiful and today I went for a walk out to Artist Point in Grand Marais to take a peek.
