Wilderness Waters

 The water level can vary quite a bit from spring to fall and this year was no exception.  Spring found water levels way above normal so at the end of August the water level was still pretty high.  I remember one time when we had to walk in the mud to reach the dock at Swamp Lake in order to reach the portage.  Adam and Billi found more water there than we had ever seen early in the summer but by the end of August it had dropped considerably.
