Wilderness Hikers

If you like to hike and like to write then how about submitting an essay about wilderness hiking?  The contest is sponsored by the Boundary Waters Advisory Committee and the prize is $1000.00 in Camping Gear.  All you need to do is submit a 300-500 word essay about one of these topics.

1. Why are wilderness trails worth preserving?
2. What is your favorite wilderness trail hiking experience?
3. What is it like to hike on a wilderness trail?
