Tow Boating the Boundary Waters

When the ice goes off of Saganaga Lake we’ll have three new tow boats to try out.  Tow boats take alot of abuse over a summer between the rocks in the rapids and the pounding of the waves.  They can only take so much welding and rivet repair before they must be retired from transporting our guests.

The new tow boats were transported to Ely, Minnesota and three of our Voyageur Crew went to pick them up today. Spring sometimes feels like Christmas with all of the new equipment arriving. Come enjoy our new tow boats this summer, we’d love to see you!
