Summer Like Weather

We still have piles of snow at Voyageur but when the thermometer hits 67 degrees in April the shorts and tank tops come out.  The sunshine felt hot and wonderful today and it really gets us in the mood for the upcoming paddling season.

It won’t be long and we’ll have open water for canoeing and camping in the Boundary Waters. If the thought of sleeping in a tent in May doesn’t appeal to you then you can always book one of our cabins. We’ll be offering two more cabins for rent at the end of the Gunflint Trail this year. Our lodging opportunities have increased for this season so if you think we’re all booked up, think again, we have openings.  We’ll try to get more information about the two cabins to everyone soon, but in the meantime feel free to call or email with any questions you may have.

Please have patience with us if you have tried to email us lately. Some spam filter was stopping all of our outgoing emails since the first week of April so although we have replied, the emails have not gone out.  Also, if you phone and it goes to the message machine then please leave a message. It’s just too hard to stay inside on these beautiful spring days when there is so much work to be done.

Enjoy the summer like weather, we sure will!
