Snowshoeing in the Boundary Waters

Tony and Hannah spent New Year’s Eve Day snowshoeing in the Boundary Waters. They drove down the Gunflint Trail to Hungry Jack Road and the Duncan Lake canoe access. Then they snowshoed across the lake to Stairway Portage to check out the waterfall in it’s winter splendor. They encountered a group of four camping in the area and saw signs of other visitors to the area but had a fabulous winter adventure in the BWCA.

Thanks for the photos!
