Snow on the Trail

When I looked out the window this morning I had to do a double take.   To my amazement the trees were coated with white once again.  When Abby looked out and saw the snow she said, "Mom, I thought winter was over?"  That’s Minnesota weather for you; 70 degrees one day and 32 degrees the next.  It has been raining off and on this week and it looks like it may be a wet weekend too.  April ended up with a total of 1.5 inches of rain, .25 inches of snow, and a warmer than average temperature of 42.48 degrees.  We’ll just have to wait and see what Mother Nature gives us in May.
