Precipitation
By the way it sounds we’re receiving some much needed precipitation at the end of the Gunflint Trail. Chelsea said it’s been raining and snowing since yesterday and there’s even snow sticking to the ground. Bummer I’m not there to see the first snow of the year as it’s always a beautiful sight.
I will most likely have the opportunity to see what will be the first snow to me upon my return to the northwoods on Saturday. There shouldn’t be snow left on the ground with temperatures predicted to be in the 40’s so the next time it snows will be the first snow for me.
Here in Florida today it is also raining. It started last night and has been raining off and on all morning. No worries I’m still going to go paddle an 11 mile stretch of the river whether it quits raining or not. The shuttle for one is leaving in ten minutes and I’m the only one on it so I don’t want to be late.
The video of the zip line tour at Adventures Unlimited hasn’t been uploaded yet so I’ll have to keep you in suspense until tomorrow, sorry!
Happy Paddling or Shoveling!
