Mushing on the Gunflint Trail

There may not be enough snow to mush elsewhere in Minnesota but there’s enough on the Gunflint Trail. Thank Goodness too because the Gunflint Mail Run is coming soon.  There is a Facebook page that has the details for this spectator friendly race that kicks off the mushing season. It is one of the first and Mush for a Cure is one of the last events of the season and they are both held on the Gunflint Trail. Mush for a Cure, a sled dog FUNdraiser is on March 6th and 7th, 2015.  We’re looking forward to all of the mushing excitement this winter on the Gunflint Trail.
