Lovely Lupines

     The lupines are blooming.  Some people absolutely love these flowers that fill some of the ditches of the Gunflint Trail.  I’ve never been too excited about them since they aren’t native to this area but they are starting to grow on me since they are growing all over my property. 

     The wild strawberries are also ready to be eaten.  I’ve enjoyed quite a few handfuls of these deliciously sweet morsels. I can’t wait for the blueberries to ripen since it’s sure to be another banner year.  Oh and the tasty Juneberries, I can’t wait.  Come enjoy the sight and smells of our beautiful northwoods
