It’s Going Fast

Today is the Taste of the Gunflint Trail and the Sour Cream and Raisin Pies I made are going fast.  Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream it’s one of the best desserts you’ll ever taste.  Some people don’t make pies because they don’t like to make crusts.  They fuss over the thiness, flakiness or how it holds together.  My crusts, to be honest, suck.  But it doesn’t matter because the crust is just what keeps the filling in place, you don’t even have to eat it, just pretend it’s a bowl and leave it be.  If you’re up in the area then stop in for a taste, before it’s all gone.
