It’s a Warning
It’s official. The winter storm watch has turned into a Winter Storm Warning. The forecast is calling for 7-14 inches of new snow by morning. This is music to my Mush for a Cure ears.
We had our final Mush for a Cure meeting last night and things are all set for a fun-filled weekend. Unfortunately I have no time to tell you about it right now so you’ll have to wait until tomorrow.

THE WINTER STORM WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO NOON CDT WEDNESDAY.
SNOW WILL DEVELOP AND INCREASE IN INTENSITY ACROSS NORTHEASTERN
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWESTERN WISCONSIN DURING THE DAY TODAY. THE
SNOW MAY MIX WITH FREEZING RAIN AT TIMES ACROSS NORTHWESTERN
WISCONSIN TODAY. THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT. TOTAL
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 7 TO 14 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY WEDNESDAY
MORNING. WINDS WILL BE INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35
MPH THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THIS COMBINATION OF SNOW
AND STRONG WIND WILL ALSO RESULT IN AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW…ADDING TO THE ALREADY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. MUCH
COLDER AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL PUSH IN TONIGHT…CREATING WIND
CHILLS OF 15 TO 25 BELOW ZERO.
A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THE
COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS AND HEAVY FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW
WILL CAUSE DANGEROUSLY LOW VISIBILITY AND DRIFTING SNOW. SNOW AND
ICE COVERED ROADS…AND DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS CAN BE
EXPECTED. DELAY TRAVEL IF POSSIBLE. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL…USE
EXTREME CAUTION AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
BE AWARE THAT YOU MAY BECOME STRANDED AND THAT IT COULD TAKE MANY
