I’ve got a Beautiful Feeling…

It’s another beautiful day on the Gunflint Trail.   The sun is out, the loons are calling, and the birds are singing in the trees.  On my morning run I went to the end of Sag Lake Trail and saw the ice was almost all gone between the river and the narrows.  There is just a small, thin sheet of ice floating and with a little wind, it will soon be gone.  It is such a terrific time to be out in the woods.  We went on a hike up to the high cliffs that overlook Gunflint Lake yesterday.  The view of Gunflint Lake and the Canadian shoreline is awesome from up there and of course we didn’t see another soul.  The ski trails are perfect for hiking or mountain biking right now, so if you are looking for a spring trip, then be sure to give us a call.  Wishing you all a Happy Easter from our family to yours.
