Gunwale Pumping Fun

     The favorite event of the Gunflint Trail Canoe Races- Gunwale Pumping.  There are usually way more people in this race but I guess the wind and cold weather scared them away.  Or perhaps it was the fierce competition?  Three Voyageur women braved the weather but one decided to take a dip early into the race.
