Fun with the Voyageur Crew

     One thing about summer staff is they can make or break the summer and this year’s staff is really making it.  We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of people working with us this summer.  They are all so easy-going, friendly and fun to be around.   

    We really enjoy our Voyageur Crew and are grateful when we have the chance to spend time with them while we’re not working.  Last night we all enjoyed a dinner out at Loon Lake Lodge.  The crew cleaned up quite nicely for our staff photo but we missed having Theresa there with us.  Next week we have more fun planned.  Wednesday night will be the Annual Canoe Races at Gunflint Lodge and the Voyageur Crew has been busy practicing for them.  On Friday is the 3rd Annual Tuscarora Triathalon; last year our guys took 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place so we’re wishing all of them luck again this year. 

     Speaking of luck, we’re so lucky to be able to have such terrific staff.  They are a great group of people and we’re having a great time at Voyageur with them.   It’s really fun to have past staff members come up to visit too.  Hannah Lynch and Brad Kremske were up yesterday for a visit, Jeremy and Kiki Howard brought their new baby up for a 1-week stay this year and Alison LaTourell is up visiting this week as well.  We love to see past Voyageur Crew Members and are looking forward to Valerie Lightholder’s arrival later this month. 

     We hope you will take advantage of our Voyageur Crew and come up for a canoe trip or resort stay this summer.  We want everyone to be able to experience their smiling faces and enthusiasm for the wilderness at Voyageur Canoe Outfitters.
