Fire Near the BWCA

We have had a little bit of rain over the past week.  This is a good thing since the forest was getting dry and the fire danger was getting high.  A fire started just outside of the Boundary Waters near Lima Mountain off of the Gunflint Trail.  It started on the 24th and burnt about 4-5 acres.   The cause is unknown at this time and the rain should keep it under control.  You can check out this website for more information about wildfires and current fire conditions.
