Favorite Cross-Country Ski Trails in Cook County

     There’s over 400 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails in Cook County.  It’s the place to cross-country ski and I’m lucky because I live very close to the Upper Gunflint Trail Ski Trails. These trails are my favorite to ski and they are right in my backyard.

     There are short loops and long loops, flat trails and hilly trails and everything in between.  If you get the chance to come skiing on the Gunflint Trail then you’ll be in for a real treat.  Lonely Lake Trail is beautiful, Highlands offers a great vista, Ham Lake is a picturesque route and West End is wonderful.  You can’t go wrong when you’re skiing in the right place.
