Anglers Take the Pledge

     More than 1400 anglers took the pledge at the Minneapolis Sport Show this year, will you take the pledge?  I will and I want to encourage you all to do the same. 

     The Angler’s Legacy Program and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources wants to get more people involved in the life long sport of fishing.  Fishing is a great way to spend time with friends and family in the great outdoors yet fewer people are participating each year.  It has been proven that if a sport or hobby isn’t experienced as a youth then it is less likely that it will be enjoyed as an adult.  We need to get kids into the woods and off of the city streets and fishing is the perfect way to do this.  Chances are if you ask them they will go with you.

    Will you please take the pledge to introduce one person to the sport of fishing every year?
