A Calm Day Calls
It’s the mornings when there’s not a ripple on the water’s surface that tempt me the most. The river looks so inviting for a swim or to cast a line in search of a bass. With a stack of canoes in sight and my paddle just an arms length away it’s all I can do to not hop in a canoe and paddle away.
It’s one of those mornings in case you haven’t guessed. It’s difficult to send groups out canoeing without jumping in their canoe with them. A calm day is calling now I just have to decide if I’m going to answer or not.
