Women in the Wilderness

     The wilderness is a wonderful place for women to be.  Don’t let anyone tell you the Boundary Waters isn’t a place for women because it’s the only place in my book. There isn’t a better setting for women to gather and grow together than the Boundary Waters.

     We feel it is important for more women to get out into the canoe country.  This is why we offer a package for women only for an all inclusive rate of just $500. This includes a paddling partner who accompanies the group and instructs members on the details of canoe camping in the wilderness.  She understands a canoe trip can be intimidating for some people but is there to put you at ease and let you know you can do it.  She’ll show you how to do it and be there with you every step of the way.  By the end of the trip you’ll be confident enough to take a group out into the BWCA on your own.

     We have trips scheduled for this summer and room for you on them. We’d love to have the chance to introduce you to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, a great place for women.
