Winter is Here on the Gunflint Trail

     We left the Gunflint Trail when it still looked like Fall and came back to it looking like Winter. We were only gone for the weekend but that was long enough for Mother Nature to cover the earth and trees with white stuff.

     We received 8-12 inches of snow in various places along the Gunflint Trail and many of the lakes are solid once again.  Ski trails are being packed and groomed and driveways are getting plowed and shoveled. My guess is the snow is here to stay.
