What’s That Strange Sound on the Gunflint Trail?

We are familiar with many strange noises on the Gunflint Trail. From the spring peepers to barking fox and saw-whet owls we’ve heard our share but in all of our 20 plus years on the Gunflint Trail we’ve never heard this sound.

The sound of chamber music will fill the air on August 17th to benefit the Gunflint Trail Historical Society. Read this article  and consider listening to some unusual to the Gunflint Trail sounds.

The Gunflint Woods, Winds and Strings Benefit Concert will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 17. Tickets are limited and sell for $20 each. Ticket price includes the “Meet the Artists” social hour.
