What You Wouldn’t Go Camping Without

I’m not sure there is any item that I need so badly that if I couldn’t bring it with on a BWCA canoe camping trip then I would stay home.  I’m not sure why or when I started thinking about this but I hope you’ll think about it too.  Is there something you need to have with you or you wouldn’t go on a Boundary Waters trip?  I’ve listed a few things that are important but if I didn’t have them I’d still go camping.  Would you go without these?

  • Bug Spray
  • water filter
  • sleeping pad
  • matches
  • flashlight
  • sunglasses
  • toilet paper- what are socks for anyway?
