Things You Don’t Normally See

I can’t say I’ve ever seen that many moose on a lake at one time. What a remarkable thing to see and Nace Hagemann, a photographer who lives on the Gunflint Trail was prepared with his camera.

Another thing we don’t often see near Grand Marais are iron ore ships. They are usually farther out in the lake but when the wind blows in a certain direction then the ships come closer to shore and we get to see them. Jim Boyd saw the opportunity and captured it on camera.

I’m hoping when you visit the Gunflint Trail the next time you’ll see some things you don’t normally see.
