There’s No Place Like Home

Especially when your home is at the end of the Gunflint Trail. The lack of noise is especially obvious when you’ve spent time away. No sounds of vehicles just the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. Quiet and beautiful are just two of the words that can describe our place at Voyageur.

I love living at the end of the Gunflint Trail but while my kids are in High School we’re living in Grand Marais during the school year. Grand Marais is beautiful in its own way. The big lake is magnificent and awe inspiring but it isn’t the same. There are hiking trails, waterfalls and great scenery surrounding us but it isn’t like the wilderness of the Gunflint Trail.
