The Superior Lake

It’s awesome to live so close to Lake Superior. It’s a beautiful, clean lake that looks different on any given day. Sometimes it’s calm, sometimes it’s choppy, some days it looks blue, other days it looks grey, it rarely looks the same.

The water level of Lake Superior doesn’t stay the same either. According to an article I read recently after years of having lower than average water levels the lake has rebounded the past two years and now has higher than average water levels. This year the level on December 1st was 5 inches above average but 4 inches less than last year. It only lost 1/2″ this November because of precipitation when it usually loses 2″ in November.
