That’s What I’m Talking About

4 degrees and 20-30 below zero windchill.  This is the type of weather us hardy winter lovers look forward to, bring it on!  You won’t find cross-country skiing trailhead parking lots filled with cars today like they are on a day when it’s 20 degrees above zero and no wind.

It finally looks and feels like winter in northern Minnesota.  Grand Marais, Duluth and the shore of Lake Superior all look like winter is finally here.  Trails are being groomed for skiing and snowmobiling all over Cook County and folks couldn’t be happier.

Of course there are those who complain it’s too cold and there’s shoveling to do, but some of us need this in order to feel tough and alive.  And some of us are just a wee bit crazy too.
