Snow In the Air

On my drive home from town tonight the snow was starting to fall.  The kids were keeping an eye on the thermometer and it was hovering between 34 and 35 degrees outside.  They were praying for the temperature to drop and the snow to continue to fall, but it didn’t.  We are suppose to get some of the white stuff this evening but I doubt any will stick to the ground.  The ground isn’t frozen yet and we’ll need some colder weather before that happens.  The deer are out and active and many of our fox friends are scurrying about.  The Tamaracks are shedding their orange needles to the forest floor and soon will be bare.  Winter is on it’s way!
