November?

Today it was 57 degrees and sunny on the Gunflint Trail. The grass is still green thanks to the rains we’ve had and it felt more like a warm spring day than a November day.  It’s hard to believe it’s deer opener this weekend when the weather has been so beautiful.

Some years there has been snow on the ground for the opener. There isn’t a chance of that happening according to the forecast.  Sunshine and temperatures in the high 50’s and 60’s are scheduled for the weekend.

It’s very tempting to go camping this weekend, wouldn’t you agree?
