Meet Voyageur Crew Member Jessica

Jessica is from Grand Marais, Minnesota and she is no stranger to the Gunflint Trail. Her Dad owns Seagull Creek Fishing Camp and she has spent many hours fishing Saganaga and other nearby lakes. It’s her first year as a Voyageur Crew member and her favorite thing to do in the outdoors is spend time on the water.

A fun fact about Jessica is she is a professional lumberjack. She’s been log rolling and boom running for quite a few years and she is very good too. She has also participated in the Mush for a Cure, a sled dog FUNdraiser on the Gunflint Trail and has raised more money over the years than any other individual.

Jessica is a remarkable person and we’re happy to have her as a Crew member this year. She knows the area so if you have questions about the area or fishing then she’s one of your go-to-girls.
