Map out Your New Year

Where do you want to go in 2013? What do you want to spend your time doing? What kind of a person do you want to be? These are questions you should take the time to ask yourself at the beginning of each new year.

The beginning of the New Year is a good time to make some lists and check them often throughout the year. I like to make a bucket list of what I want to do during the year. Sometimes I break it down into seasons so it’s easier.

For instance, this winter I want to go downhill skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing at least once. I also want go cross-country skiing once a week and go on an overnight snowmobile trip. In a perfect world I’d ski into a yurt but I’m going to have to work really hard to squeeze that into my schedule.

I know I don’t want to spend my time in meetings in 2013. That means I may need to get off of a board or three.

These are just a few of the things that are on my map of 2013. I’m hoping your map includes a trip to visit us at Voyageur this summer!
