Halloween Boundary Waters Canoe Trip

A group of enthusiastic paddlers went on a BWCA canoe trip over Halloween weekend.  They woke up to a thin sheet of ice on the lake and a little bit of snow on the ground. It was all part of the adventure for these Voyageurs. On the trip were past Voyageur Crew members Tessa Olson, Adam Maxwell, Jake Bendel, Mike Swenson and Ryan Ritter.  Three of the paddlers never worked at Voyageur but they obviously have the Voyageur spirit.  If I count correctly there were only 8 people on the trip and 9 is the limit in the Boundary Waters.  Sounds like there was room for one more Voyageur, bummer I wasn’t invited as it looks like they had a great time.
